June 2010. A leaf disorder of Jatropha from Vietnam and Cambodia. The problem has been seen for some time on 1-2-year-old trees. So far, it has only been seen during the growing season (not the dry season).
It does not seem to affect more than 30% of the surface area of a single leaf and never more than 10% of the total leaf surface area of a tree.
The first two photos (photos, above) show how the disorder begins, and the third (photo, lower left), show the result after the damaged leaf has dried in the sun. A badly affected tree is also shown (photo, lower right).
There was no response from members.
