August 2001. A common weed in taro gardens in Samoa: Synedrella nodiflora (L.) Gaertn. (sometimes known as Cinderella weed).
Members thought that it could be Syndrella or Calyptocarpus. If it roots at the nodes, then it is Calyptocarpus;, if it does not, then it is Syndrella. Syndrella tends to be erect, while Calyptocarpus is more prostrate. Both are hosts for a geminivirus.
