It was identified as Jimson weed, Datura stramonium, the seeds of which are hallucinogenic. However, there was also the opinion it was D metel: D stramonium, Jimson weed, has flower corolla short, less than 10 cm (vs. more than 15cmL); fruit erect (vs. inclined); fruit opening with four valves (vs. irregularly); and seeds dark brown to black (vs. yellowish).
