April 2016. During the monsoon season these worm-like creatures are seen. are they slugs?

They are planarium worms in the phylum Platyhelminthes. Probably a Bipalium species. Images of two other species (lower) were sent from a member in Vietnam, but it was not certain that these were from that country or elsewhere.
