December 2015. Photos of Hibiscus from one of the outer Islands of the Mamanuca Group in Fiji. It was at first thought to be caused by a gall midge or perhaps a psyllid, but nothing could be found inside. Could it be a fungus – like leaf curl in peaches??
It was identified as Aceria [=Eriophyes] hibisci – Hibiscus gall mite.
