March 2009. Photos of whitefly larvae from tobacco.
It is suggested that the larvae of the whitefly, presumably Bemisia, are parasitised by a species of Encarsia. The photos clearly show the meconia (faecal matter) which is common in Encarsia prior to its pupation. The pupae should be removed and placed in a gelatine capsule so that the adults can be collected for future identification.
