March 2000. From Palau, a question on the identification of a moth, the caterpillar of which was found eating the underside of Chinese cabbage leaves. Only the upper epidermis was left after its attack, and leaves were folder over and together. Lamprosema diemenalis was suggested, but specimens were requested for detailed examination.
It seems that if the tetative identification was correct, that it was a new record for Palau; as it is not mentioned by Nafus D (1997) SPC Technical Paper 210.
