November 2009. Images of two bugs were sent from Bangalore, India. The bright red ones with white stripes is sitting on a coriander flower, while the brick red bug with white and black spots on it back were abundant in tomato. They are fast-moving, ground-roaming, bugs. They were thought to be pyrrhocorids.
The bug with black and white spots was thought to be Spilostethus pandurus. It belongs to the Lygaeidae and not Anthocoreidae.
