December 2009. A predatory beetle collected from the island of Hoarafushi located in the North Maldives. The beetles were collected from a breadfruit tree infested with mealybugs. Mealybugs are attacking several crops on the islands, e.g., papaya, breadfruit, guava and some ornamental plants.

It was thought to be Crytolaemus montrouzieri.
