August 2008. Identification of a mushroom from India was requested. It was found growing in an Aloe vera nursery, in a field, not in a forest, although there is forest in the vicinity. It is not eaten, but it is used in traditional healing..

The mushroom could be a Suillus sp. (Polyporaceae), e.g., S. luteus. Several of these usually grow under Conifers, Pine, Larch, etc.
