If you wish to become a member of PestNet (for free), you can do so either by:
- opening the online version of PestNet or
- downloading and opening the Android app.

Joining via the online app
Once you have opened the online PestNet app, click on ‘Join’ on the top toolbar. This will open a registration window that enables you to open a new account. You have the choice of registering in one of two ways:
- creating a new account by providing a username, your email address, and other information, or
- using an existing account that you have with Facebook, Google, etc.
You will be asked to enter a password, which must include letters, numbers, and a symbol (for example, $, #, %).
Then click on ‘Log in’ and you are now part of the PestNet community.
Click on ‘visit’ and you will see recent submissions to PestNet and then you can add your own submission or respond to other submissions, or just read the submissions that are already there, using the search engine to go back in time if you wish.
If you join via social media, click on the one of your choice and follow the directions.
Once you are a member, you can now click on the symbol of a person on the top toolbar to open up a template that enables you to add further details about yourself and your interests and to choose various preferences concerning your PestNet activities — see screenshot below.

If you wish to become a member (for free), download the APP, then open the APP and click on the three horizontal lines on the top tool bar.
This will open a registration window that enables you to log in to PestNet.
You have the choice of doing this in two ways.
- creating a new account by providing a username, your email address, and other information, or
- by using an existing account that you have with Facebook, Google, etc.
Once you are logged in, you can now submit requests and respond to identification or other requests that are posted to PestNet.
