August 2011. A planthopper infesting sweet pepper, chilli pepper and tomato in the periurban belt of Douala, Cameroon. Information on the insect was requested.
Members thought that it was a Nisia nervosa (Motschulsky), in the family Meenoplidae. It is a common insect on rice, and there is information on it in EA Heinrichs, Barrion AT (2004) Rice-feeding insects and selected natural enemies in West Africa: biology, ecology, identification.
