Feburary 2007. The University of the Pacific, Samoa, sent pictures of a beetle and wolf spider from pitfall traps in a cabbage plot. Others were collected from the cabbage plants.
The beetle is a Chlaenius sp. from the family Carabidae. Most probably C flaviguttatus, a wide spread predator in the Asian/Pacific region. Others were not identified.
