November 2010. A beetle feeding on cycads in Luzon, Philippines. It is doing a lot of damage.

A member said it was a species of Erotylidae in or near the genus Anadastus. This genus is well known to feed on young cycad foliage in various parts of the world. [Contact Rich Leschen in New Zealand for possible further identification and references.]

A number of products were suggested for control (e.g. deltamethrin or permethrin).
