March 2007. Help was requested from Sri Lanka to identify the specimen illustrated. It was thought to be a species of Elymnias. The larva of this butterfly was found to be a voracious feeder on the leaflets of coconut seedlings.
Members thought it was a species of Telicota (Hesperiidae) or perhaps Cephrenes palmarum (Felder, 1862); Hesperiidae; see: theskippersofkerala.blogspot.com/search/label/Telicota
