A paper on the mealybug is attached to one of the replies.

Later (September 2011), a member wrote that the mealbug is now in the Arabian peninsular; it has been identified from Oman. At this time it is also reported to be spreading in the souther part of Benin, west Africa. See, Muniappan et al.
