February 2004. A moth from Terminalia catappa from the island of Gan, Addu Atoll, the Maldives.

It was identified as Ophiusa coronata (Fab.), a member of the Catocalinae within the family Noctuidae. It is a fruit-sucking species, mainly feeding on over-ripe and damaged fruit. It less often causes primary damage to softer fruits, such as fully-ripe carambolas and guavas. It breeds on Combretaceae, including Terminalia and Quisqualis.
