Lymantriid or Limacodid, Tectona

October 2005. Help was requested in the identification of a caterpillar on Tectona in the state of Chhattisgarh, India. The insects are used as folk medicine in treatment of urticaria. The photos are on Ecoport.

This looks like the young stage of either a Lymantriid or Limacodid caterpillar. A close-up picture of the caterpillar would be helpful.
