October 2013. Assistance was requested to identify the cause of rotting in Guava fruit in St Lucia. Often the distal end of the fruit is affected, although there are also rots that occur elsewhere.

Members thought the problem was due to fruit flies, and asked whether the Guava fruit, Anastrepha sp. is present in St. Lucia.
